ADVICE ON WASHING AND STYLING

Hair can be normal, oily, or dry. But regardless of hair type, we recommend washing it every day to keep the scalp clean and prevent greasy buildup. It is important to maintain a healthy, clean scalp to minimize hair loss, which can be accelerated by seborrhea, fungus, bacteria, and pollution.

At the first sign of hair loss, begin shampooing with a good hair-growth-stimulating shampoo. Today, Revita is the most powerful combination of ingredients to oppose follicular dysfunction. It incorporates a dozen compounds with antioxidant, anti-hormonal, and pro-nutritional properties, including procyanidins B-2 and C-1, ketoconazole, copper peptides, and biotin.

It is developed without sodium lauryl sulfate or sodium laureth sulfate, two low-cost detergents commonly used in mass-market shampoos and cleansers that are linked to skin irritation, drying, and hair loss.

Oily hair. If your hair is oily, avoid running your hands through it. That seemingly harmless action can actually spread the oil that clogs follicles and contributes to hair loss. Also avoid most conditioners, which do nothing to promote hair growth. Instead, condition with Revita.COR, which contains powerful ingredients known to stimulate hair growth, encapsulated in hydrophobic, bio-adhesive, cationically charged solid spheres. This delivery system adheres to the scalp tenaciously for maximum hair-growth effect even while sweating or swimming.

Damaged hair. Bleaching and coloring treatments are pretty tough on hair and can cause damage to the scalp. Drugstore and home treatments can be particularly harsh and should be avoided, especially if you experience hair loss.

African hair. Often prone to damage and dryness, African hair is very curly, which can trap the sebum secreted naturally from the scalp. This oily mixture of glycerides, free fatty acids, wax, and squalene, heavily laden with the hormone DHT, can suffocate roots and cause hairs to fall out. For this reason, it is recommended that people of African descent wash the hair every day.

Style in moderation. Styling products contain agents that can make hair even heavier and greasier, so avoid mousses, pomades, gels, and styling creams and lotions. If you must use them, then do so in moderation.

Following the advice above will help effect the hair regrowth for which you treat with Spectral.DNC. Continued use of Spectral.DNC will help you to maintain strong, healthy-looking hair.
